Learning in a Pandemic: Meeting the Learning Needs of Students in Accredited Programs with Online, Blended, and Face-to-face Delivery

This consultation looked at emerging approaches for developing and/or adapting instruction for online learning. Topics included: instructional strategies, learning materials, assessment, hosting / learning management systems (LMS), and applications to government-regulated private colleges.

Delivery Model for Water Literacy Program in Indigenous Communities

This delivery model supports a localized water literacy program appropriate for engaging Indigenous communities and youth. Topics include process, indigenous ways of knowing about water, activities for a water literacy program, youth engagement, and program content.

Environmental Scan: Programming Options for PLT Canada

This report identifies the types and nature of learning programs as well as key players in educational programming. Includes findings from a literature review, interviews, and a national survey. The report identifies critical success factors, and gives options and considerations for future programming. Organizations who participated in the study received a summary of survey results in, “A snapshot of environmental education in Canada”.

Recommendations for Expanding Earth Rangers School Programs with Purpose, Reward, and Community

This national research study includes an analysis of existing education presentations in schools, a literature review, a comprehensive consultation, and key recommendations for possible implementation models. 

The literature review includes relevant published literature that can inform future school-based programming. Topics include delivery, content and learning interactions as well as key success factors and barriers for students, teachers and presenters. 

Educational program leaders who participated in the consultation phase of the project received a summary report titled, "Key Success Factors for School-based Programs".
